My name is Malin, a Scandinavian living in California.
I grew up in a home where creativity was a way of life—shaped by a parent who was an artist, copywriter, art director, musician, and choir leader. Expression in many forms was always present and always encouraged.

To me, art is so much more than form or color.
I believe it has the ability to move us in deeply personal ways—and sometimes, even transform us—if we allow it. My hope is that what you find here will leave you feeling inspired, grounded, and strengthened.

After becoming a mother to my first daughter, I found myself deeply moved by the stories of women around me—and the woman I was discovering within myself.
That was the beginning of Lyss Studio.

Through my work, I want to honor women—their strength, softness, complexity, and power. What started as a single drawing grew into many, and I realized I didn’t want to stop.
